She didn’t get to win the national crown, but she’s landed one of the coolest gigs in show business. Channing Pierce competed last June at the Miss USA pageant as Miss Michigan USA, and despite her perfect looks and the fact that she was one of the favorites, surprisingly she didn’t make the first cut. But even though she was ignored by Donald Trump’s beauty pageant, for the producers of the movie Real Steel she was THE one for the role. She has a cameo as the ring girl during the main fight in the film starring Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly and Dakota Goyo.
The gorgeous (and my Miss USA) Channing has been modeling for years, and it was her modeling agent who suggested she compete at Miss Michigan USA, where she won on the first try. You can see Pierce in at least 2 of the trailers.
Real Steel is directed by Shawn Levy and opens on October 7 in the US.
